Nokia 3210 Unlock code

I recently got a Nokia 3310 and gave my Nokia 3210 to my 12 year old sister. The reason i got the 3310 is because the 3210 was faulty and i got it from computer fair. When i insert a SIM card i get the message:

SIM card
not
accepted


So please can some one tell me an unlock code that will remove the restriction.

IMEI: 449142/40/613303/2
Model: Nokia 3210
It was restricted to BT Cellnet - UK, which is now O2 - UK

I beleive that the Nokia 3210 is DCT-4

Hi John welcome to the forum.

No problem with the codes but you need 5 posts in non unlocking forums first, check the sticky rules at the top of the unlocking section. We do this to build up the forum and keep the codes free :)

no, problem. i was a bit unsure of the 5 posts thing because it said DCT3 remote unlocking and the 3210 is DCT4 (i think)

OK then i have made the 5 posts accross the forum. I hope that find them as useful as i did.

Please can i have the unlock code? be back in a few minutes as my sister wants to use my copmuter now.

id didnt work.
i tried it with the sim card out then again with it in. on both accounts it would not me type in the last '#'.
It may be because it ALWAYS says sim not accepted. this is why i needed the code. any suggetions?

3210 is a DCT 3 phone not DCT4, you need to wait for Diesel to help as he has the unlocker for DCT3 phones.

but that is it, the last '#' does not appear when i enter it in.

I'm not quite sure whats going on there.

I can't check the code myself cos I don't have a DCT3 code calc program.

When Diesel comes back on line, get him to check the code again and get the SECOND code too. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that for Voda PAYG you sometimes need a second code and maybe this is the one you need.

The code above is correct if the details you have posted are correct, and is the phone locked to o2??

with o2 only lock 1 is locked so only one code is needed for this phone

how many times have you tried entering other codes???

The code has to be entered with the sim card out of the phone, and when you press the last # the code should disappear and either say "sim restriction off" or " code not accepted" what is it doing if anything???

Perhaps someone has already tried to unlock it with codes (the origional owner)!! and you only get 5 tries at entering the code then the only way after that is a cable unlock!!

how do i unlock it with cable? what software? is it free? and where do i download it from?
