not sure where to put this as it is a philips.

I have a Philips Savvy and would like to know if there is anyway to remotely unlock it.

unfortunatley, the Phililips Savvy is one of those few rare phones that can be a real bitch, because it can't be unlocked.
Infact, most (almost all of the BT Cellnet or 'U' branded ones) are so tightly locked that the sim card that they come with will only work on that phone, and none other.
Its one of those Catch 22 type things, its a real pain.
