Hey, guys. I am in need of assistance in unlocking a Nokia 3310. I would greatly appreciate it :)

diesel, when I tried the first code, it said Code error. I then tried the second code and it said lock off but when I inserted a non-fido SIM card, it said SIM card not accepted. I tried the first code again, it gave me the save "Code error" message. Could the first code be incorrect?

Hi mate i have checked the codes and they are coming up the same

Check all your details are correct!

Has any one tried to unlock the phone before remotely as you only get 5 tries at entering the codes correct ,then it`s a cable unlock?

I don't think anyone has tried unlocking it before. So I only have 2 more tries. Ok let me just see if I got this right.

1. I remove the SIM card.
2. I type the first code: #pw+0735772263+1# and then SEND
3. I type the second code: #pw+0635841246+2# and then SEND

That right?

Yes correct with the sim card removed,

You wont need to enter the second code again,

Once you hit the last # it should say sim restriction off for lock +1

Have you checked the details you posted

If the phone you are using was on contract try this code :#pw+3291545559+1#

This should sort it

I double checked the IMEI and it's correct. I got the MCC and MNC from the list:

Canada Fido 302 00001 www.fido.ca

Wooops, you edited your post. I'll edit mine too. Well, the last code you gave me worked :). Yeap, it was on contract but it's now on prepaid. Thanks, diesel :)
