What is the best way to connect my T610 to my home PC?

Bloothooth USB dongle is my choice. Bought on fore lik $25 at CompUSA or you can get them cheaper if you shop around (or Ebay).

Sometimes can be a little tricky to set up but I personally didn't have a problem.

I used an IR adapter. £20 from Maplins, plugged it into the PC, activated the IR on my T610 and away I went.

Needles has a point. IR may be better than Bluetooth depending on whether you will continue to buy only Bluetooth phones.

I can't think of a phone that doesn't have IR, while I can name plenty that don't have bluetooth.

It is a fact that the installation of an IR-device is much more easy then BT. But I think that BT is cooler. I use them both actually, IR on my laptop and BT with my PC.

best is bluetooth

you don't have to bother about aligning both devices and just keep it there.

let the computer be one corner and you can move around with your mobile while still connected to that.

Bluetooth is probably better but IR is very good too.

I have IR at the moment on my laptop and I just download pics/tones/games and IR them to my T610.

Get what is cheapest and easiest for you m8

If you want to connect wirelessly, the advantage of Bluetooth over IR is that the devices do not have to be in each other's line of sight. Another alternative is a USB cable. Most of these cables will also charge the phone while connected. You can find these readily on eBay.
