What's the easiest way to get pics (which are brilliant!) off the E700 and onto PC?? Have an infra red but still waiting for new sim card to kick in so haven't played yet. What's best software too?? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. have now got Easy Studio and infra red set up OK. Great to get pics off phone so easily! Had major probs with Nokia 7210 with that. Was able to download tones too which has caused a different problem and I'll start a new thread for that.
Now, how do I save the contents of the phone book? Can't see a way. Any help appreciated.

There is no specific file type or function to do this with sansung, like in Oxygen for Nokias, but you can export (and later import) your phone book contents to your Windows adress book, or outlook contacts or even an Excel file.
See your easy studio soft, you'll find these options!!!
To your other thread, donīt know yet...

Have actually gone back to Phone manager that came with the Irda device. Although this didn't seem to work too well with Nokia 7210 it seems to have worked really well for the E700. Have been able to download my phone book to the pc and save it so I have a back up. Also seems easier to play with pics on it. Great camera on this phone - esp the ones taken indoors in poor light. They are better than the ones the digital camera I bought can produce in that light level.
