Some Beta software has been released that lets you use your P800 as a camcorder.

Have any P800 owners tried this one out yet....I just wondered what the quality was like.

Keep it up. i downloaded your beta version of camcorder. its great job. though the quality is only fair. but somethig is better than nothing. i am confident that you will definately come up with a better version. please let me know. my email

he got it from another site, he's not a software creator for the P800, he has'nt even got one! :)

i am having some problems with the camcorder software. on the left hand side of the screen while recording or while just seeing thru a mirror like thin strip is created. this didnt happen during first few uses. i dont know what is it.

How do you install the .rar file into the phone ?

.rar is a compression, you need WinRAR to 'un-zip' it. I'm not 100% sure where to download it from, so just do a google search for it/

.jar files are for Java phones, so just install it as you would any other Java application. I'm not totally sure how to do it using a P800, but most people who own a phone as complex as that often are fairly knowledgable about how to use it ;)
