Where Can I Get An SX1

Well I spent all day today walking around every single shop looking for this phone and most of them have never heard of it although on their web sites it says released July/August.

I went to The Link and they did know what the phone was but didnt think that they would be stocking it due to their lack of smart phone sales over the last 6 months.........

I've now got my heart set on this phone and if anyone knows where to get one please let me know....

website release dates are rarley true, just take Nokia as an example.
The Sx1 prolly wont be in this country until september at the earliest to be honest. The best place to look for true release dates is the internet, not the high street.
However, personaly i'd rather go with the Nokia 6600, which is being built on a shared design and symbian platform OS, but does'nt have the weird keypad thing :)

yeah I looked at the 6600 but its more geared towards the business market.....the SX1 seems to have everything I need from all the games, tones, mp3 player, mpeg4 player, fm radio great screen....the list is endless........shame really as the Link Website has this phone as being released in their stores in July......under the coming soon section.....got me excited for a moment...

by shared design i meant the SX1 and 6600 are the same thing underneath, so the Nokia has everything the SX1 has minus the MP3 player :p

WOW you lucky man.........whats it like....when can I get one........

Its ok.. Quite difficult at first to navigate but once you get used to it is quite good. The keys are quite unique to say the least. It wont be available for a few months yet (software bugs). I am testing it for our our new remote, mobile phone number back-up service. i please email me if you want details. five_20_tras@yahoo.com.

Well I've managed to find out some more info on this release, DELAYED AGAIN :pissed:

So from a June original release date it has now been put back to November............funny that just before Christmas....although they say that its down to bugs....:pissed:
