Phillip Camcorder Question!!!

Can somebody help me to explain what is the difference between the function mp4 and H263 in the preference of Phillip Camcorder? Either funtion i select, i just got the .3gp format and not mp4. WHY?? :conf: Can the .3gp format played using mp4 player? :conf: :conf:
