diverting to answerphone

Any1 know how do u alter how many rings goes out to other caller before my phone goes onto answerphone? When i got it it jumped onto answerphone almost immediately, i called Orange and they made it the longest gap they could, but i am finding this too long as when callers phone me and i'm on a call they just get it ringing out and hang on getting annoyed thinking im just not answering - meanwhile its doing my head in beeping in my ear! Is there any way i can alter the length of time myself without calling orange?? :rolleyes:
