I have downloaded this software for my e700 but when I installed it and opened it up it says this:

Unable to initialize DAO/Jet db engine

...and it wont let me go into the program can you tell me what is the problem??

You don't seem to be the only one with this problem -- I get the exact same message when the status bar is "reading PC address book", it's VERY annoying :hammer:

I found this reply elsewhere, might be of use to you

This may be a bit late, but there is NO error with your DAO/Jet db engine at all!
It's an error in that copy of the software.
I had this same msg appear when I downloaded the software from one of the samsung sites. However there is another copy on another of samsungs servers which you can find here:

this aint gona be muc help so sorry, but i cured the "DAO/Jet db engine " error by updating windows xp from microsoft and puttin in microsoft jet and microsoft net framework, this stopped the error, i cant get the software to see the ird port but hey ho .

I have the same problem! can't get the software to see the irda port! PLEASE HELPPPP!
