Sony Ericsson Bluetooth car CAR-100

Bluetooth has been getting automotive for a while now, though it's usually involved with connecting your phone to a headset or in-car hands-free. But Sony Ericsson has come up with a Bluetooth car design that's a lot more fun. The Matchbox-sized roadster plugs into your phone's charger slot (any Sony Ericsson phone will do, but Bluetooth-enabled models like the T610, P800 or T68i would make most sense) to get fuelled up, then you place it on the floor or desk and control it via your Bluetooth phone.

It will work with your phone's scroll buttons but it's a lot more fun if your phone has a joystick, allowing you to take it back and forwards and turn left or right. It will initially be available in a limited run later this year to test the market, but Sony Ericsson is hoping to develop a range of Bluetooth-based fun devices in the near future.
