Just got it today.

When I opened the box and saw it, I thought 'Looks good!!'. Got home and started to play with it.

Good points -

Easy to text on. Believe it or not I got used to it very very quickly. Need a bit more practice before I can do it by feel alone.

No need to bother with Nokia Suite, just use the IR dongle and the XP transfer software.

Easy to setup GPRS, a lot easier than the P800 was.

Plenty of scope for adding apps to improve its usefulness.

BUT.....

Feels really really plasticky and I reckon if it got dropped it would fly apart.

Ringtones already on phone are usual standard Nokia CRAP and not very loud.

Instruction manual far from simple to read and doesn't give as much info as the P800 manual did.

Camera isn't worth mentioning. Pic quality is TERRIBLE.

Will be interesting to see how long it does actually last.

TBH, it's just an evenings and weekend phone at the moment. Won't get an awful lot of use. You know what it's like when you get a new toy, you play about with it for ages and then the novelty wears off..

I know when you have them first you just got to fiddle with the settings and after a couple of days it becomes boring then :bo:

How right you are.

It looks impressive and may well be the one for me, but time will tell.

Don't reckon I'll do much at work tomorrow cos I'll be locked in the outside loo testing it.
