Nokia 3510i Text Question

Hi

My mom had the 3310 and she used to get a text to her phone whenever she sent a text to confirm it arrived at the other phone. She has just gotten the 3510i and was wondering if the same could be done on that phone and how. I've had a look around but to no avail. Any helps appreciated, thanks.

Hi mate

This can be done usually under the message settings area on the phone look for a setting for Delivery Reports and set it to yes. All phones allow this generally but I still believe that it may be network dependant.

it's also phone dependant in some cases, we had a customer in the store not long ago, and i tried to turn the feature on for them and it could'nt be found. And it was a nokia....

I've looked all through my mom's phone. I'll check the manual when she gives it me as well but as of yet no feature.

It says that Delivery Reports is an option under the text Message settings area.

Instead of starting another thread, I got the phone myself today (first new one since the 3310 about 3 yrs ago) and I was wondering can I get rid of the text that says "Virgin" on my screen. Is it like the old monochromo logos, could I replace it with a blank one? It gets in the way of my jennifer aniston wallpaper ;)
