DKU-5 Problems

I recently splashed out on a DKU-5 Data Cable for my 3100, it is an oficial one. When I install the drivers it installs perfectly but then when I go to install the PC Suite it does not detect the connection, I had a look in device manager and the phone comes up as an unknown device. I go to update driver and it says the best driver is already installed.

Any ideas?

DKU-5? Isn't there just DKU-4

nope, I think the one for Nokia pop-port phone is DKU-5
I have a feeling, but i'm not sure, that the DKU-4 is for Nokia Series30 phones (3310, 3410, 5210 etc.). Might not even be that, because technicly Nokia have never officiated data cables until the DKU-5.

Bet you have something else working in that COM/USB port. Try another port.

Also, have you got some other S/W on your PC for your phone, as if you have, say Nokia and Mobi, they conflict.
