Whats the matter with it Chris?

Opera will probably not work on the NGAGE cos to run the program you need at least 2MB of PHONE MEMORY to run it.

Doris Browser is apparently better, but I don't use the Mobile internet.

I think it'll still be free after that!

The problem they've got is that a lot of car trackers are equipped with a sim card and to charge for GPRS would mean a hell of a lot of work ensuring that these sims remain free!

umm whats car trackers?

So if you're car gets stolen they can pinpoint the location of the car or if your gaffer wants to put one on your van to see where you are (as in my case! ;) )

Right, sorry to disappoint all of you....

If you have an o2 ONLINE tarrif (payg or contract) then you will still get you free WAP entitlement...

But if you have an off line contract or payg (by offline I mean from an o2 shop in the high street) then you will be charged.

I have a O2 pay as you go phone...not an online one and i had the same text saying you have used all your free entitlement and i came on here and saw Nick's post saying that they have extended their offer and i connected and so far have not been charged.
Dont know if they will stop me using it for free again but at the moment i am not being charged at all. Just keep checking is probably the best thing to do.

As of 10th June, O2 are now charging for GPRS.

If you have one of the O2 online simcards it will still charge you. You have to connect using the GSM WAP settings. Try it with the GPRS settings and you have to pay.

Nick is it just me or have O2 been very quiet about having to pay for GPRS? And do you have any idea if we have to download yet another settings thing for the GSM wap to keep it free? :(

If you go to the o2 website you can get the settings if you need them
