Well, I do, but I won't for much longer if that makes any sense...
What I've done is, I've bought it on O2 Pay & Go from our store and I told the manager if I don't like it I'll take it back on Thursday/Friday.
Well, it's going back, because picky old me does'nt like it :goofy:
The reasons? It's just, it does'nt seem like £250's worth to me, or at least what I expected from it. Yes it looks nice, but you get over it quickly. The directional keys have an exceptionaly loud click compared to the soft black number buttons. The external screen is nice, but the novelty wears off fast and when using it for taking pictures it's very dark, missing most of the colours and takes a little while to figure out exactly what your seeing if in low light conditions. I mean, it does the job, but not for £250 it does'nt...
And, I thought to myself "theres at least 4 phones I can think of off the top of my head that have better features than this, and their all under £200...".
I mean, the camera overall is very nice quality, but I compared it to our family friend's new Moto V600, and I was shocked to see that the V600 was better and brighter (albeit a bit blockier on the screen). And then my brother chirped in, after I played him the ringtones, with "Oh my god, it does'nt even have Hi-Fi ringtones! Even my Sagem My-X2 which was £50 has THAT!). And he's right. For £250 it's just not worth it. You can't beat Hi-Fi ringtones no matter how many polyphonic tones the phone can play, and I love the ones on my E200.
So overal, reasons for sending it back are:
-External screen novelty wears off fast
-Looks are'nt as important as I thought
-Suprisingly uncomfortable for making calls
-Limited features for £250
-Does'nt seems like it's worth so much
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's an excellent phone with a cracking screen and camera, and it's got a nice solid build (althought you could feel the hinge stiffening after about opening and closing it 30 or so times) but I just don't think it's worth so much money.
Anyway, what with the price of my 5100 rapidly decreasing it looks like I'm looking at a cheaper option for a phone with a nice camera.
So, hows this lot sound?
-Sony Ericsson T630
-Sagem Myv-65
-Sagem My-X7
-Motorola V500 (I know i've bad mouthed it before, but go look at the Moto section after reading this and you'll see what I mean).
