Nokia 3300 Data cable

Will this data cable allow me access to my phone book, SMS etc? I thought the port on the top of the phone was only attached to the MP3 player. Is this what I need, or should I get one which attaches to the bit under the battery?/ (FBUS?)

It might do, but do beware of using any aftermarket cable.

The picture looks like it is just a cable and the cable drivers disk.

If you were to try and use it with Nokia Data Suite (or PC Suite) you would have problems because thew software would not recognize it.

My advice is if the 3300 has Infra Red then buy an IRdA device because that will work with any software.
