Anyone out there know a way of getting a decent mobile cheaper than they sell in the shops? I know this sounds desperate, but they're just so expensive! I've seen things like the pyramid schemes and dont fancy throwing £20 away, but i know some people who seem to get mobiles cheap, and wondered if anyone here could help.
thanx

Word of advice, i'd check to see if your mates are getting 'off the back of a lorry' phones ;)
Its usually things like they've bought them second hand or off reliable online retailers who sell fully legit brand new phones for less than the shops because they can afford to and are'nt as money grabbing as high street stores. But their not going to be cheap as in £100 off, the most you can expect to save is about 30-40% at the most, depending on the phone.
Virgin are selling 'reconditioned' phones on their website I believe.
Might be worth a look....
My local Vodafone shop are selling the 14 day exchange bring back phones off. But the prices are about £10 to £20 less than the prices of the new handsets. So a Nokia 3410 would cost you around £49.99.
And the other day i noticed a Samsung A300 for £99.99 reconditioned!
