Samsung Compact
The latest thinking from Samsung, who brought us the weight-watching A400, is that mobiles have got about as small as they reasonably can, and that the expected popularity of Bluetooth means that people will actually hold them to their ears less and less, preferring to communicate via a voice-activated headset. So they've come up with this idea for a 'ladies' phone' based around the idea of a handbag-friendly make-up compact - not so small that it can be easily lost, not so big that it gets in the way.
The emphasis is on durability with its anodised aluminium case and protective clamshell design and its distinctive slimline curves certainly make a break from the bullet-shaped norm.
