hi can somebody help me, i have just bought the samsung e700, i had a data cable for the t100, but i had the A800 b4 and this cable worked, so i thought it might work in the e700 (my new phone) but im having no luck at the moment, and i need some help, thank you

their a different type of cable, so no is the answer.

so i have to go and buy a new one, when i put it in, it bleeps and says charging like my other one, do you know the cheapest and best place to get one from
Probably ebay is your best bet....

the best way to do it is get an Infrared adapter from www.ebuyer.co.uk for around £15, cheaper than a cable and will work with an infrared phone, including yours. You'll have to download Samsung's software from the internet to use it tho.

ive got the software, i thought you can only send and recieve phone numbers and thats it, thats what the manual says
daedalus is right i have the e700 and got an irda cable from e-buyer, and it works like a pro, ringtones wallpapers the lot:):):):):)

The software that might have come with it (none that I know of tho) would not be right anyway, you need to download the full software from samsung's website.

thank you matie, i just ordered it, do you know anything bout multi media, i have got virgin mobile sim and cant seem to get multimedia messages to work

Virgin don't support MMS (picture messaging) at all at the moment, and they keep saying they will but they never have. So you'll either have to change networks or sit tight and wait.
As for the link, could you please not start a whole new topic in an existing thread, within a forum that does'nt relate to the link at all.
If your going to post that kind of stuff, can you please do it in the Mobile Phone Free section, as it has nothing to do with mobiles.
And I can safely say most people have probably been subjected to the badgers already :) I've got it as a ringtone tho, which can be pretty funny at the right times :)
