A835 Bluetooth

I bought an A835 and so did 2 of my m8s cos it was so cheap at the link. I put a few mp3's on to it and then my m8 wanted them so i remembered that the fone had bluetooth. So i went to the file, clicked send, selected bluetooth and it could not find any devices. Both of our settings for bluetooth were power on, but yet still no devices. Any ideas why this mite be?

I think Moto's have two modes for Bluetooth, like many Bluetooth phones: On and Discoverable.
You need to get your mate to set his to Discoverable (it should pop up saying something like 'Discoverable for 30 seconds' etc.
Then try searching for it from yours :) I think the way it works is something like it can only travel one way at a time, not both, so you have to set it to incoming or outgoing.

Cheers 4 ur help, wud it make a difference if the person sending had theirs set to off and then tried to send it to sum1 with their power on? or any other solutions?

no, both of them have to be turned on in one way or another, otherwise it probably would'nt work. Even if it was turned off, the phone would just turn it on when you go to send it.
Just so long as the sending one has it set to 'On' and the recieving person has 'Discoverable' on then it should be fine.
