unlock at v300?

sorry we dont remotely unlock motos........you need a code from the moto server.

Yo confusedmarty i tried the same but T-mobile told me i need to use the phone for three months and have spent at least £10 (in that time) before they will give me the subsidy code to release the phone from their Sim so i can use my O2 number and sim.

Thats NOT an unlock code. I think they've got the wrong end of the stick, because what their going to give you is most likely a number porting code, so that you can take your T-Mobile number over to a sim card of another network.

However I could be wrong, but that does seem awfully cheap and getting codes sent to or written down for Moto's is near impossible right now and the only real way of doing it is to actually link it to an unlocking clip of some kind.

But it does'nt hurt to call them and check first.
