Unlocking a Motorola V500

I was interested in the V500 and wanted to know if somebody could help me with unlocking it. I don't want to get the phone and find out I can't use it because I can't unlock it. Thanks, Aaron

sorry we dont remotely unlock the moto's.......you need a code from the moto server.

Aaron........ was looking at my CPW book and the V500 it seems (please someone correct me if im wrong) is exclusive to Orange...... but the V525 has the same features as the V500 but is exclusive to Vodafone.....

Would maybe it be worth looking at the Voda one if Orange is no good? just a thought anyway.

Their identical, except the V500 is Orange exclusive and has a silver front, and the V525 is exclusive to Vodafone and has a blue front, although all the menus on the V525 are pretty much standard Vodafone red and white.

And on the vodafone one (V525) the firmware of the phone is totally voda branded!!!!!!! :cry:

But you can flash the Voda V5's with the firmware from the V600!!!!!!
