Please help. Is there anyone here that knows or has used a cd called 'Ultimate T100', ? - or anyone able to help with the conversion of a Samsung T100, which I had done the software upgrade to make it a T108, and now want to go back to a T100 to help it sell better.
Don't get me wrong, this CD (which also has tonnes of other stuff on) is great, and the upgrade to T108 is very worthwhile as it makes the phone better than a standard T100, but the makers of the CD assume that you won't want to go back to T100 and unless I'm missing something (likley I am) they don't seem to describe the process by which you can get it back to standard spec.
If anyone can advise how I can do this, by using the same 'Ultimate T100 cd' that would be great, otherwise, please suggest an alternative source to get the original software back on (or to re-set the phone to T100 by some other method?

Thanks for reading this !! - Paul

I think you'll be pushed to find it, I nearly did this when I had mine, but did'nt dare risk it, but I remember someone saying there was a way of getting the T100 firmware back again. However, this was back when the T100 was actually still selling and was popular, which its obviously not now, so most of the T100 communities have died out, if not all of them.

Thanks for the reply. There is a section on the 'Ultimate' cd, called 'original T100 Firmware', which, rather obviously would likely do the trick, however the layout and type of the files, doesn't resemble those it the section marked 'Flash T100-T108 upgrade', I think that the way to go back is not simply a reversal of the upgrade procedure + the upgrade instructions are very detailed, the original firmware files contain no instructions - oops !

Thanks for your time ! - Paul.

All you will need is toolbox 4.3.1 and the firmware (ogm and axf both ogm and axf file must be the same, usually T10JJVG2.axf and T10JJVG2.ogm etc )

T10JJVG2 Being the original T100 firmware

Boot up TOOLBOX, goto the ENVIROMENT SETTINGS Tab and click AUTO CONFIG(This is your com settings may have to change com port).

If you wish to back up the firmware on the phone you need to click on the FLASH DUMPER Tab. Select TARGET MODEL SGH-t108(T100). Check MAIN FLASH and SECOND FLASH. Click SAVE on the main flash and enter the filename you wish to save it to and do the same with the second Flash.

Connect the phone to data cable supplied with phone, Ensuring the PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF AND CLOSED AND MUST ALWAYS HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY.

Click start and the program will dump the files from your phone onto your comp if needed later, one axf and one ogm file(Not always neccesary as most original firmware can be found on the net but you will need to find your version by typing *#9999# into the phones handset and this will bring up the firmware u have now. write it down
).

Thats all it takes.

If you have probs I can PM you a link to somewhere that can help you.

I used to have a T100 but I cannot remember what the SW was that I used for flashing my phone. But this method is highly recommended.

Thankyou for the detailed advice, you assume that I am actually any good at using a computer, actually I'm not. Whilst your advice is most appreciated, all I'll likely end up with is a broken phone. I'll have to risk selling it as a T-108 upgrade, just assumed that it would be worth more if it looked like it hadn't been messed with and was a T100 again

Thankyou anyway for the great instructions, it isn't worth the risk for me, I speak from experience !

Cheers - Paul
