unlocking my sharp tm100

my boyfriend recently gave me his sharp tm100 but i'm not able to use it because it is a contract phone & my sim is 'pay as you go'. as i want to use my sim in this phone is there any way i can unlock the phone for free so my sim can then work in it? please help, cat

As far as im aware we do not remotely unlock the Sharp's...sorry.

Best bet is to take it to a mobile phone shop, not one of the big companies but a smaller private one, see if they can help you.

if the pay as you go sim your refering to is a T-Mobile, you'll be ok, but thats it.
It does'nt matter if its contract or pay as you go, unlocking does'nt affect it that way, it affects the network its used on.
