i wanna get a MOTOROLA A835 and/or NEC E313 but i duno which one if you can browse WAP on. can sum1 plz tell me which one you can browse wap on ?

The NEC is on offer for £39.99 at Argos and also at the Link. I have had mine for a month now and i adore mine.........the only thingi can fault is the battery standby (3 days) but you get a spare battery and i believe all 3 phones have poor battery life.

I was considering selling mine to get something smaller, but i wont part with it because it is so feature rich that i really like it.

I prefer it to the moto as it is lighter and when i was comparing the two instore the NEC has a much better screen.

I dont know about wap (do 3 even support it yet?) but their own services i find to be excellent.

In other words, yes it has WAP (all phones sold in the last 3 years have it as standard!), but a much more advanced version of it, and like Nick said you can't surf for anything other than '3's own pages, which is free to do so, but downloading the stuff from them costs you money (alll explained in the book that comes with the phone).

1 last question : if u unlock the fone r u able 2 u browse normal wap on it (with a different sim card) ??

their almost impossible to unlock, the only way to do it is through 3 themselves, and they rarely do that, but I honestly dont know about using normal WAP/GPRS on them because of the radio signals they use (3G is a whole new system, where as normal mobile use 2G, which is GSM and works on different transmitters to 3G).

The A835? Yes.
The NEC E313, dont think so, but bunny will know, she has one :)

no the NEC E313 does not have infra red (thankfully) but files you want to send to the handset can be emailed anyway and email is still free at the moment.
