I wondered how many people are still using dial up modems out there.

I've been on broadband BT for over a year now and I could never go back to the old 56k.....

I've currently got the 512 connection....but a 2Mb would be great......its amazing what you get used to and then want even more....

4 times faster.... probably 4 times the cost too!!!!

I can't get Broadband out here in the sticks (well, a village on the edge of Ipswich is hardly the sticks) and we're not due to get it until mid-2004 :mad: And we NEED it more than anyone else in the whole town! We're running 6 computers off a 64k ISDN line at the moment, not good, and I can hardly ever download things :(

Thats what comes from living in Suffolk. All farms.... :) :) :)

It's a godsend though, I only got it cos when I was using the PC nobody could use the phone!!

I used to be in the sticks and I went for the ISDN in the end which was bloody expensive on the phone calls.........the best thing about broadband let alone the speed is the small phone bills I now get it's great
