I've been with single point for over a year and recently upgraded my phone for a 6600.
I was told that that they could give me a discount on a brand new phone, costing me 100, or i could have one that has been sent back (packaged and unused but by law, no longer new as it had been sent out) for 60. Being a student, all the money i can save the better, so i went for the the £60 job.
I recieved the phone about a week later, only to find that the phone would not except my sim card. I phoned up single point and told them my problem. They said that my sim card was old and a new one would have too be sent out (live of course, knocking my old sim card out of service, meaning i had to phone up to get the old one re-instated). Another week later, and i recieved my new sim card, but still the phone would not except the card. Back on the phone to single point. This time they told me that there had been a mix up and that a vodaphone 6600 had been sent instead of the 02. They couldn't send me anougher one because the phone was out of stock, so they sent me to phones for u to get it unblocked. Simple right....WRONG..the people in the shop said that they couldn't unblock the phone, the same story in the o2 store and the same in every phone shop i went to.
Back on the phone to them again.......this time they decided that they would send the unlocking code out to me....but it would take another week.
I've waited over a month for them to get the god damb phone in stock, and now all this hassel.
Single point are pretty usless..................

Another one to add to the list of thousands of Single-Crap horror stories.
Just a few simple words: Don't deal with Single-point or Phones 4 U, ever!

Had a nose in Phones 4 u today, and saw the original N Gage advertised on offer for £59.99 on Voda and Orange.
Soon as i walked in the smarmy little fella who worked in there came over and started spouting how the prices just three months ago were £300 and what a bargain thay were but how they didnt have any in stock but could, just for me get me one!!

He was so desperate for me to order one he started going on and on about the features on them, even adding features that i know were not on there (i asked him if you could attach the Nokia camera knowing full well you couldnt but yes he told me you could).

In the end i just walked out in disgust..........i didnt see where the horses were tied up but i know they were somewhere ........they have to be cos they are the biggest bunch of cowboys of the mobile world without a doubt.

yeah, but Phones 4 U don't ever deserve to go in our best offers thread do they?
I've got a plan for next time I'm in town with some free time, go see in the General Mobile section :)

No D is right it does not deserve to go in the best offers.........only genuine offers in there from reputable companies.......something which phones 4 u are not.
