Unlocking A300

Im looking to unlock the Samsung A300 for my mum, at the moment its locked to Orange, IMEI:350187/90/797309/4, we are looking to put an O2 sim card in it. Is there anyone who could help me do it as iv never done this before.

Iv tried that code but it wont let me put the * in and it seems like the code is too long, Am I doing something wrong?

Did you try it without the simcard in? BTW make sure all your numbers are store on the sim just incase it blanks the phone book :) other than that i cant think of anything. Sorry.

Iv just tried it without the sim, it lets me put the code in untill i get to the # key, when I try to put this in its saying "wrong entry".

Sorry i haven't a clue. But dont enter any more codes untill the clever people get back to you. It could be that it just wont work on your phone :(

As per the Samsung unlocking thread, sounds like they have added the security into the phone.

Like Kelly I am having the same 'wrong number' error displayed when trying to unlock an ex orange A300 for use on O2. Has this problem been resolved and where can I get the phone unlocked?

Only codes I know of are the ones that are posted on the samsung page
