Has anybody read any good book lately? Cos i'm bored. I've read all the book on my book cases way to many times and i've even started re-reading the books at my local library.
I'm reading 'Artemis Foul' from the kiddies section now :) Which is actually pretty good.
I have been reading a book called 'Parkhurst Tales', which is about a man who tells of his experiences in prison.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the early 70's and came out in 1994. Makes interesting reading. He tells about his conflicts with the authorities, the Kray twins way of sorting things out on the inside, escape attempts. Very good book.

That sounds pretty interesting nick. I also bought from the library 'The black house' by steven King in hard back for 40p. I'll probably read it tomorrow. I quite like King now but used to not be able to get into his books.

I've got a little pile of books I bought that are either based upon or are acurate written versions of the Resident Evil game saga, starting from 1 working its way up to 3 and including Code Veronica, plus 2 seperate books based upon the original story and characters.
All very good, and absolutley excellent if you've played all the games like I have (mainly for the interesting story with twists and turns everywhere).

That sounds good D. I'll have a look at them. Games and book seem to go in a circle. Like AD&D started as a game went to computer then books then back to computer games again based on the books. Not to sure about when they try to convert the games to film. But saying that i liked the film of resident evil :)
I also like the Stephen King books......but used to find some of them pretty hard to get into.
Im reading 'Ballard of the thin man', which is the autobiography of Phil Lynott.
I cam recommend Dave Peltzers 'a boy called it'..........his harrowing autobiography of when he was a child and was abused by his mother.......a truly terrible true story but unputdownable.

I'm not to keen on factual based books. They tend to give me nightmares :( but the worst horror books dont.

I can’t read or watch horror stories, I get frighten very easily.
I can highly recommend David Eddings books. All of them. If you like Tolkken then you will love these too. He has created this world that you can immerse yourself in and only surface for food and water. Fantastic! Start with The Belgariad Series, book 1, Pawn of Prophecy

I have the Belgariad and the Malloreon and the prequals Belgarath and Polgara. I tend to read them every couple of months :) I keep having a go at 'The wheel of time' by Robert Jordan but each book is huge and i think he's done 10 of them up to now.

I'm the same; I tend to lose myself in them regularly as well. Have you read his others?
Have a look at Robin Hobb’s books, not as good but still a nice read.

Yea, that’s right. The Farseer Trilogy was about an assassin. He’s got 2 other trilogies, The Liveship Traders and The Tawny Man. As yet I have read the last in The Tawny Man Trilogy. Although the Liveship Traders was good I didn’t feel that the story had ended. I feel as though there could be a lot more in these stories, even a possible connection between Farseer and Liveship series.
You seam to have read everything that I would suggest so what do you suggest?
