Who in their right mind would want to spend that long in a box in mid-air??

OK, I would, at least I'd get out the bloody house....

Yeah but would you do it for a couple of million pounds...I'd give it a good try.

A great way to get famous....copy all of his tricks but do a day longer.........that would really piss him off....and the media would love it. :)

Cant understand why he is doing this, dont know what he is trying to prove.
The crowd below him in the night is giving him some terrible stick tho......mostly with eggs and golf balls:confused:

They have now errected fences with about a 50 metre radius so no one can get near now....perfect chance for him to escape at night......conspiracy theorists would say the egg throwing etc has been set-up so that they can move the crowds back....

Read in the local paper the other day that some guy in Brighton back in the fifties or sixties did the same thing for 72 days. He only had water and 60 cigs a day to keep him going.

But he had a sofa and a few other creature comforts in the glass box as well.

Just to add my thoughts in here.

Personally I think it a sham. But also it’s making a mockery of those people that have starved themselves for a reason. Some very good and commendable reasons through out history. There are also a lot of children (and adults) that have eating disorders. What message is this giving them?

I’ve stepped down from my soapbox now!

I'm getting really bored with it......can't believe he's not eating anything - I can't go a whole morning without eating let alone 44 days!!!!

Don't get why people are trying to cut of water supply etc. I guess they are trying to get their 15 mintues of fame!?!?

Mike at Phoneschat would be onto Kruger saying that he'd been thinking about doing that and we'd copied him AGAIN!!!!

Mainly cos he is totally mad - but I think the £1m he reportedly got paid might have something to with!!!
