What software to unlock x426?

Hey.. I downloaded the file on the sticky.. but it only unlocks some of the samsung phones.. listed in the program

The X426 isn't listed.

Is there any other programs out there.. that will list the X426? or do I choose a different one on the list?

You could try the allsamsungunlock program that is in the 'sticky' but you wil need a data cable as well to use it.

Samsungs can't be unlocked remotely like Nokias can.....

I haven't tried this so use it at your own risk!!!! Don't Blame me ;)

1. Turn the phone off
2. Put a different network simcard in the phone
3. Turn phone back on, it should say "wrong card"
4. Type in *#9998*3323# into the phone
5. If done correctly the screen should give you a message displaying
exit! Push the right soft key to exit.
6. Now you should see a menu of choices. scroll down and select 7 " jump to null " phone should now reboot itself and the sim will be recognized and will work.BE PATIENT AND DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS WHILE IT'S REBOOTING ITSELF!
7. At your welcome screen type in *0141# and hit your call button.
you should get a message that says "Personalized"
8. Turn phone off and put in original sim
9. Turn phone back on
10. It should now ask for a sim code password, type in 00000000, (8 zeros)
and hit ok, phone should power up unlocked!
