Shame this isn't out anywhere in Europe it would be a neat gadget to add onto all our phones.
Anyone think that these would take off in Europe, I quite like the idea to be honest

ahhh, so THATS what it was!
If anyone saw the second series of 24, then like me, they might have wondered what Jack was using to contact his sidekick type bloke outside when he was dealing with Kate and that guy. It looked just like a V60, but I could'nt figure out how they were doing one-to-one voice comms at the press of a button, and now I know! That one had me bugged for ages lol :)
On the subjec of 24, I know this'll sound sad, but near the end when Kim shoots that guy, after the second shot is fired, was I the only one to notice she was holding her Nokia 3650 UPSIDE DOWN when talking to her dad? :)

oh, and yes, I think it's an excellent idea. Theres been hundreds of times when someone is in near range of me (like if i'm at college and I want to know where my mate is in the building, like if i've just got there late, and he's in the class, but the class has moved to a different room) and I have to call them, which takes too long to connect in a hurry. Sounds like a bloody good idea to me :)
i think there has been a phone on the european market like this. the old ericsson R250s PRO, that had a sort of walkie talkie thing, i think

it's a very new technology and uses high-end GPRS connections, so it might not have been availible on that Ericsson.
