View Full Version : AOHell moan again
I went to sign up for Supanet broadband this afternoon as i have been using Supanet as my isp without any problems at all after having trouble with AOHell :ok
I was sat here with my credit card in hand speaking to a Supanet advisor when he told me i couldnt sign up yet as AOHell was still hogging my line even tho i cancelled the broadband that i never had in March
So on the phone to AOHell who told me 'nothing to do with us phone BT'.
So on the phone to BT who told me ' nothing to do with us phone AOHell'.
I have been on the phone back and fore all flaming day and am evil now
What do i do now? who is responsible? i phoned Supanet back up to have some advice and they seem to think that AOHell are responsible and not BT.
I have sent a polite but firm email to AOHell and am waiting for their reply but apart from this im stuck.......anyone got any ideas?
Keep on phoning them up dont give in...ask to speak to managers etc... just keep at them and threaten that you'll be telling everyone you know etc.....I'd be really mad if I were you too

be persistant, if they don't get the message, threaten to take legal action, that usually works :)
I did a google for AOHELL and pages and pages of stuff came up.
Couldn't see anything directly related to the problem you are having, but both the chaps are right. Keep going at them, they are infringing your human rights!!!!
BT supply the phoneline but AOHELL 'logged onto it' so it's up to AOHELLto 'logoff'
I have phoned them again.....spoke to somebody diff and they promised to free up my line in about ten days, not sure i should believe them but we will see......so hopefully broadband here i come (in ten days or so........hopefully).

Wonder why it takes 'X' amount of days to do something?
With all this technology it should be done straight away. :hammer:
I hope they free it up soon.....was really looking forward to it yesterday, thought of whizzing around the internet will be great.
This is driving me daft its been another ten days and still no one has freed up my line http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/sign/2/sign08.gif i dont fancy ringing them again, being passed from BT to AoHELL and back......any ideas what i can do?
Ring 020 7348 8000, ask to speak to the Customer Services Manager and complain like (AO)hell, they will have to sort it out! Cut out the monkeys and go straight for the organ grinder ;)

Send them a funny email :) it has to end with wales being towed out to sea, or something like that, all because they didn't sort out the line. Send it to both company's and i bet one of them will sort it out pretty quick.... Once they stop laughing :) i've used this a couple of time and its worked :)

I hear that ZEN are the best and you only sign up per month not per year. :)

thanks for them K will have a look now, just had terrible trouble trying to cancel supanet now lol.
Have decided on BT broadband.....£24.99 a month with free modem and free connection, and the download limit is 15GB a month so not bad.
Its arriving on the 26/8 so cant wait.......unless my line isnt up to it or something similar.
I had my modem this morning and even i managed to install it without any probs, yippppeeeee.
Thing is i did a total restore last night and im in the middle of putting all the updates and everything back on, but i am really surprised at how fast it goes:)
Excellent news Bunny...you'll always wonder how you managed on dial up after you switch to broadband
