Try the last code first, and if no joy then try the first one.
tried the codes, but get, "cannot undo restriction"! any ideas please :ugh:
only thing i can think of is that voda have hard locked it. have you tried any other codes in the phone apart from the ones i gave you?
only when I put the new O2 sim in. It said "phone restricted"
oops! just the standard "0000" for a new phone/contract
sorry about the delay, this is the story:- company phone on Voda, contract ends, they change to O2 and send me the new SIM, when Voda is cut off put new SIM into phone and use the standard "0000" to get into phone. this is when I got "enter pin" I put in "0000" then it said enter restriction code, so I thought the standard 12345. when it rejected this I phone the office and they give me a PUK code cos O2 said I had blocked the phone that's when I got "restriction cannot be undone".That's when I found this site, and used the codes you gave me. Could it be that too many entries were tried
BTW went to a phone shop to unlock it and they said it needs to be sent to Vodaphone, do you think they are right? Off to work now will be back about 5
Well the standard pin number for an O2 sim is preset to 5555.
Needs to go to Voda to be unlocked - erm don't think so mate.
And the phone hasn't even been out for a year yet, so how can the contract have ended?
I know the phone is new, the one I had came from Voda as a replacement for a 7250i that got dropped into a bucket of diesel, (insurance job). Shortly after the contracts were up for renewal, and my co. went to O2 cos it was cheap, and I took the phone with me, hoping the SIM would work.
Anyway since the last post I have got a new O2 6230, but some of the functions in the phone don't work i.e. caller groups.... VIP, Family etc. think phone needs firmware upgrade, but beggars can't be choosers. Thankyou so much for the help, I have spread the word about your site and hope it helps with the numbers
