For all you who use XP Home or XP Pro or XP Office, this update is going to be released soon by Microsoft.

Read the info on this link for details of the update.

XP SP2 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx)

Its recommended that you set your PC up so that it accepts Automatic Updates so the pack can be downloaded and installed automatically. I think its about 80MB in size, so if you are on 56K it might take a while to do.

You would never do 80mb on a 56k modem if you have the standard two hour cut off period by your isp.........unless it would resume of course.

the windows update thing built into XP has a resume on it anyway, so even if you do get disconnected it'll carry on when you re-connect.
