At the market....

I went to the market in Brighton today to try and get a stubby aerial for my totally sexy (yes Bunny, it is) V600 :love: . There was about 12 stalls there, each selling the same things - fake Nokia covers, and unlocking using laptops at £15 a time.

Me: Have you got a stubby aerial for a V600?
Him: What's a V600?
Me: Motorola V600!!
Him: Never heard of one. Can I have a look?
Show him the phone.
Him: Never seen one of them before...is it an import?
His mate: Yeah, we have them (gets out an aerial), £20 to you mate.
Me: Thats the one for a V500, the bit at the bottom that sticks out is longer.
Him: Yes, but you can always cut a bit off the bottom with a pair of wirecutters.
Me: Er.. no thanks.

Needless to say I walked away, came home and bought one off eBay for £6.45!!!

Reminds me when I was enquiring about phone unlockings I went to a dodgy place in the dodgy part of town during my lunch hour and asked and he quoted me at £15. Went back into town and asked a bloke at a stall which happened to be for the store I went to and he said "That'd be £20, and you can tell them I said that!" Felt like saying "Ur, no"
