My phone is always with me, but I only use the cam if I see something thats worth taking a picture of.

It comes in handy for work, cos if I get somewhere where I think it's not safe to unload the lorry I can take a pic to back myself up when I get back to the yard and told off for not doing it.

I normally just take pics of the kids on mine, or something that i think would be nice for the forums :)

I can never forget to take mine cos when i bought it it came with a free rucksack.....this i assume is to carry the thing around in lol.

I rarely use it.. When i first got it i was using it every second taking pictures of everything and anything.. Now i never use it. If once a month! its just the newness that gets you really.. aftr that its nothing!

Come to think of it, I'm the same. It might have something to do with the fact that my camera is too slow for anything decent but I don't take pictures anymore, and I have'nt in about 2 months. That might change when I get my new phone, but most of that'll probably only be for Caller ID photo's.

I use mine all the time at the moment as the quality is so good...too early to tell yet how long thats going to last...but very handy to have.

I'd use it more if it has a megapixel camera like yours, so hopefully when the Samsung D500 comes out I'll get it on upgrade (about 6/7 months from now most likely before I get it).

i have a crappy n-gage and it has no n-gage. however i do transfer my pics from my digi cam to my fone via bloototh. only problem is that i cant send them to others because the file size is just to big! does anyone know if you can send more than just jpegs vis mms?

Daedalus

Its not because their JPEG, its because digital cameras are mostly megapixel, try taking them at the smallest resolution and only send 1 pic with not alot of text per message.

the jpeg question was seperate from what i was talking about originally.

the things is that my mate has tried to send me loads of picture messages and they have failed. it only seems to be jpegs that he is able to send. i have transferred loads of pic formats to my fone like gif, bitmap etc and they all work fine. i was wondering why i cant actually recieve them via mms

maybe jpeg is the only format to send via mms?

i suppose that is a possibility. when i phoned orange to find out why the hell i had to log onto the net to retrieve my pic messages they told me to send a jpeg to myself. i did and it worked fine. im may be wrong but im sure my mate has told me that he has sent gif's to his mates phone (same model 7250i) and it worked fine!

guess i will have to do my research!

nope dont think so i just found this...........

MMS supports standard image formats such as GIF and JPEG, video formats such as MPEG 4 and audio formats such as MP3 and MIDI. Multimedia messaging requires high transmission speeds, which can be provided by GPRS and 3G. To support the MMS technology, existing GSM networks need an MMS-C (Multimedia Messaging Service Centre).
