when im on 3pay and i lose signal i automatically go over to o2 which i dont have to pay for but which comes out of my mins :)
what i want to know is it the same on contract? i heard somewhere that if you go over to o2 on contract then you have to pay for the call? surely this cant be true?

its all included in the minutes on contract, just like on your pay as you go, the difference is that when you go over your free minutes (both pay as you go and contract) you pay 10p/minute to landlines in 3's coverage area, and 15p/minute to landlines in O2's coverage, so 3 can cover the cost of paying O2 for 'borrowing' their signal.
oh right thanks D, the mins you go over are what i probably read and got confused about :)
I spy another new phone............

you might want to read up on those fully, I know The Link have one like that, but its only via chequeback after 6 months etc and then after 6 months its like £30/month, so make sure you get all the info first.
I am going to have a good look around before or even if i commit to a year of 3.
The offers seem to be on the LG or the funny shaped Nokia, which one would you think is best? opinions please as i want to go and have a look on Tuesday :)
ive gone for the deal on CPW which gives methe LG for free, 500 mins plus 100 texts with half price line rental for 12 months.....so the first three bills are £15 a month, full price on the fourth bill and when i send that in i will have a cheque for the nine months.
It is being delivered tomorrow so looking forward to it, the only thing im worried about is people say they have trouble with the cable, so i am going to use the email to transfer the pics :)
