Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and in Australia.

If you can, please help me to unlock my Samsung E715 which I bough from US seller without knowing it is locked by T-mobile. Firmware is E7 1.8 E715UVDC5
Can I unlock without cable? Is there anyone having WinIMEI for E715.
Very frustrated since the phone arrived. :(

It has not listed code for E715. I contacted Samsung Australia and USA but they said onlt T-mobile can help to unlock this phone. My case gets even wosre as the seller won't help me to get the PUK from T-mobile. Soon if I say this phone is locked I don't think anyone interest to buy it on eBay and I don't like to cheat people like the seller did to me. Not sure what I can do now. I can buy unlocking service on the internet but cannot pay them using credit card. So many problems since I am not in US. If you know any one, please drop me few lines. Many thanks, bunny.

Just let you know that I tried all given codes from this forum such as *2767*688#..., *#9998*.... and #*7337# but none of them works on my phone. From what I have read on the forum, I bought a cable to unlock it after the eBay seller gave me so many f.... when complaining his/her attitude after the deal.

forgot to let your guys know that i was able to unlock this phone using cable and software - only way to do it. thanks so much to share info here, sarah.

This worked on my E715... found it on another forum and cut and pasted it here... (no cable required)

1.put in SIM of a provider it is not locked to.(like att)and power on
2. when it says "wrong card" enter *#9998*3323#. message will pop up saying "press exit" or something like that. press the right soft key. choose #7. phone will reboot and sim will work.
3.type *0141# and hit call. message will say "phone is personalized".
4. power off. insert a different SIM and power on.
5.at the SIM code prompt type 00000000 and your good to go. will work with any SIM after that.

this has always worked for any e715 i have needed to unlock but sometimes samsung can add extra security. good luck.
