Run Linux On Your X-Box

Check out this site if you fancy running Linux on your X-Box

If anyone out there has actually done this I want to know if its as good as it looks....

it was donea while ago. There was a competition to see who could get Linux running on an unmodded X-Box, and the first prize was something like $10,000 or maybe less, cant remember.
Bascily, it was set up by the guy who created the new Windows beater, named 'Lindows' (really, they chose the name just to piss Bill Gates off) just so he could majorly piss Microsoft off.
Microsoft just scoffed and said "pff, the X-Box has such a high level of security that it would be near impossible to do such a thing", or words to those effects. And then, low and behold, some guy actually did it :D
He plugged a USB hard drive into either the XBox itself or into the Ethernet port using a HUB (cant totaly remember) and used a game such as Splinter Cell which has a glitch in it that lets you access the 'drop-down' console as you would on a PC game. He then used that to hack the XBox and the USB hardrive, got them to talk to one-another, and managed to get Linux up and running! Major embarresment for Microsoft :)
And, you can buy an official (that right, official) PS2 Linux kit, consisting of a hard drive, cd-roms and a keyboard, to let you do your own programming.
