O2 genie sim

Hey, Just topped up my genie sim with £10. The last time i topped up was September and my free messages lasted for 2 months and I sent well over 300 txts but they remained free.

Just wonderin how long it takes after topping up for them to become free again. Topped up yesterday afternoon but am still getting charged for them now... Maybe they're counting back all my free messages... :tongue:

i think it can take up to 48 hours if i remember correctly.

Somethin else weird happened this month with the sim aswell. For a couple of days my balance kept increasing. Was at 5.94 then went up by a few pence and a pound somethin at one stage and then stop when i reached £8 somethin.... Just increased gradually over a few days.

seems strange, could the extra be if you have registered it or something? they now give you i think up to £2.50 when you register and a £1 when you top up by swipe card the first time.

All kind of weird things happen like that with most networks regarding credit.

On my Orange contract, I've called 150 to find out how many minutes I have left this month, and rather than telling me how many I really have, it says "You have one thousand and sixty minutes of.....to return to the main menu, press star" (the dots were indicating that it pauses and stops mid sentance).
Then I call back again right after and its correct again.

Didn't register this month tho. Been using this sim since around July. Still no free messages. Any chance they would switch me to original P&G for some reason?...

you will have to give them a ring, dont use the 50p minute number either email them or look in your booklet for the cheaper number to ring.
