5210 date/time problem

Hi

I have just got my hands on the 5210 and it is working perfectly except for one niggly little thing.

Whenever the phone is switched off at the top, it will forget the current date and time. I am sure this is not a "feature" as my 3210 could remember the date and time between power downs.

Anyone know what would be causing this?

This happened with my 3330 when I had it. Exactly the same.

I found that after a while it disappeared of its own accord and I never had any problems with it after that.

Its one of those really annoying things though isn't it. :pissed:

Is it maybe because the phone has hardly been used, and has been off for 3-4 months before me purchasing it.

The total running time on the phone before me having it is only 4 hours.

I would try a new battery in it.

Charge the phone up then use it till it goes flat. Then do the same thing again two more times to condition the battery and it will then last much much longer.

nah I do not mean that it only lasted 4 hours on one full charge. In the secret menu thing that says how long the phone has been running since it was manufactured it was 4 hours.

I charged it up for the first time on friday morning and it still has not dropped below 4 bars yet.
