I had no end of problems with 3 and the nec 313 phone i like the idea of the network, but is orange or vodaphone going to do the same things? any one help?

If you mean are the Orange or voda '3' services going to be like '3' then i would say they will prob not be as good as '3' at first.

3 have had is it nearly two years to get their service sorted and as it still a fairly new technology there are bound to be teething probs, more so i would have thought for voda and orange as they have only recently got the services off the ground.

Saying that tho voda may have a better 3g sig where you live than 3 themselves so i suppose to some extent it depends on where you live.

I have a 3 contract myself and have a fantastic service from them but i know from people who post that i seem to be one of the lucky ones :)

What probs are you having? is it to do with the handset itself or the network?

The phone and the service. I was lucky if the battery on the phone lasted a day! And the service i couldn't send photo's even in the '3 zone'!!!

the NEC has a setting called power management, have a fiddle with that and see if that helps.

As regards the photo sending did you try to send them via email? if so are you sure you have your email set up ok? do you have error messages after you have tried to send a pic?

fiddled with power management put everything on power save but still no luck. And as for photo's everything didn't work emailing them or sending them direct.
