Is it safe to unlock a phone.As mobile phones companies say that its not safe as it may damage our phone.

Its perfectly safe, they only say its not because they make up and cock and bull story to get you to stay with them rather than change networks, hence why they don't like unlocking. Thats all.

But do remember its only safe to do in the right hands, there's people out there that don't have a clue what there doing and might ending up upgrading your phone with some dodgy firmware if your not careful. Always make sure that you know what you are doing to your phone and take advice before trying anything yourself.
