Nokia Connection Manager

I'm using my Nokia Infrared to connect to my PC, my PC says on the taskbar that my Nokia PC is available but when I use Nokia Connection Manager and select the Infrared option it shows my Nokia phone and when I press apply it says 'IrSocket API Error (0x80043205, NokiaCL.ServiceLayer)', I've searched through the WEB for this error and found that other people had the error and they basically either changed the speed rate, I've tried the speed rate and no joy.

I'm using Windows XP Professional.

Infrared is quite a dodgy thing to get working there are many stories of this being a pain to set-up. The speed rate is something that you need to keep playing with as in most cases this does work....

try playing with the speed, and also the other settings such as Ir Tranciever Type and Min. Turn around time.
