Nokia 6230 Picture Messaging

Anyone had any problems with a Nokia 6230?

I was given a FOC Nokia 6230 to trial. At this time I was able to use any simm in the phone. I used the mobile for about 2 weeks on Orange and then boxed it up. 4 months latter I’m using the mobile again but this time I had to unblock it (Code received through this site, Thank you).

I never sent message picture messages before, as I didn’t have GPRS activated. Now I’m trying to send them I can’t. I have been talking to CS and they have sent the setting through twice. I’ve checked that the GPRS is set up correctly, it wasn’t, but it is now. Still no joy.

Can Vodafone block these settings?
Can anyone help?

You need to be persistant with Voda, they can sometimes overlook a couple of things, like forgetting to activate GPRS on your actual account besides just sending you the settings.

Also, you'll need to make sure that the phone is accessing the right GPRS settings to connect (Voda Live), otherwise it'll try connecting to the wrong ones.

The thing is it is a company phone that I have been allowed to use, but I'm using it with my Orange Simm.
