I've never really been into these types of games before, however I've read loads of reviews and everyone seems to think this is the best thing ever - so if anyone else plays feel free to give me a shout and I'll be seeing you online :)

Yay, another WOW player :)

Me and Az play all the time, we got it as soon as it came out (well, one day after). Its excellent, we've played this kind of game before and this is as good as some of the previous ones we've played, really getting into it.

Me and Az play on the Bloodskalp sever (I think its called that)

I lost a friend for WOW :(
Lol, he bought the game last month and since then I go to his house on the weekend, He plays the game while me and a bunch of our other friends hang out at his house lol.

Its tragic when that happens, I was once a victim of 'friend theft' by an Online RPG.

I 'used' to have a friend who would purposely invite me over repeatdly JUST to sit and watch him play an awful game called Anarchy Online for up to 5 hours at a time.

He could'nt understand why I did'nt want to go round there anymore either....

Things like that should be in moderation, I put my friends/family first and my games come somewhere after that :)

For those who are sitting there thinking "What the hell are they waffeling on about, its only a frigging game!", then you have no idea how compulsive and addictive Online Role Playing Games can be.

Most famous one for causing real life crisis is EverQuest. That game over the last 4 or 5 years has caused divorces, counciling, neglect, unemployment and various other things. Only in small percentages mind you, but still.

Either way, I say if they have no control of when their playing or not then they need help and its their problem, not the game developers.

well, I came home last week to find a box by my bin ....

Opened it up and it was some world of warcraft box set thing with a map dvd's etc.It obviously wasnt mine and there wasnt even any address on it and as I've never played the game (i've heard of it) so i gave it to my friend ;)

what is it? some online role playing thing ?? lol
