All afternoon it had been snowing on and off, but not laying.
Then just as I get all my bike gear on it started to lay. :rolleyes: Perfect timing.
All gone now though.... :(
More on its way they said on the telly :biggrin:
Its freezing here....went to cardiff and it started to snow lightly....got back to the valleys and it started heavy this time as soon as i got off the bus. It hasnt stuck so far apart from on the mountains but it wont suprise me if it comes down again then it will stick deffo as it is so so cold.
It snowed and settled over night here and its been snowing on and off all day here.

It's just started here again, and looks like it's laying. Already got a centimetre or so (not gone outside, it's too cold).

Been snowing on and off, but at least once a day, since about Saturday. Worst thing is the ice though, I'm quite happy to walk on the snow but ice is a nightmare :(

Been snowing on and off all since last night. Woke up to a couple of cm’s on car but has disappeared throughout the day. Just started again.
Im in the same situation as nick (except without the bike part). However whenever it snowed in lessons everyone was like "SNOW!" Ahh the maturity of 18-year olds.

I know, same thing happened at college. a few people stopped and just watched the snow heh.
And most of us are 18, 19 and 20 ish.
Has really been snowing at least 5 times a day for the last 2 days, but not really laying:(, BUT.... woke up this morning at about 6:50am and snow everywhere and still snowing now:)

Same here, but its snowing so much that both the schools have closed and I can't go and see Azda because of the roads :(

:tongue: yo, we had snow here at lands end this morning, but its all gone now.
it is so rare to get it down here, everyone complaining but loving it at the same time.
I say "bring it on" and lets have a couple of days off work
According to the forecast we were supposed to get snow today, but all we have had is freezing rain.
As soon as it hit the ground it froze - made driving a bit interesting to say the least.
It was magical here today :) it has just been picking on and off all week but this afternoon i got married and as we were coming out of the registry office really huge fluffy snowflakes started falling........within ten minutes everything was covered and everything seemed really quiet.........just like a lovely postcard scene.

Just read on the BBC weather site that we are supposed to have some tonight in the south.

Must have been like a fairly tale, with all the snow and everything. Hope you had a wonderful day :)
Thanks :) i did have a lovely day, it was exactly as i wanted it....me and Ian and the kids and just two witnesses......it was quiet and with no fuss at all......brilliant :) we will go away in the summer for a couple of weeks, when its warmer :)
