Picture When Receiving Calls

I just got my nokia 6610. This is the problem that I have: My friend was looking at it the other day and he did something via infrared. Now, everytime he calls there is a picture that pops up and flashes. However, when someone else calls there is no picture just the number. Is there a way to assign these things to caller or something? He won't tell me what he did. Please let me know.

Sounds to me like caller groups.

It's a function that allows a pre-defined icon to appear when a person calls you. For example, you put your family numbers in the caller group for 'family' and when one of them calls you, an icon flashes on the screen along with their name.

Can you tell me if your phone display lights up when you receive the call from someone who is in some caller group?

I haven't owned a 6610 so I can't speak for that model.

I did have a 6100 and that didn't. As they are more or less identical phones but in different shells, I would guess that it won't.

But I'm quite happy to be proved wrong......
